Dave Barry & Ridley Pearson ~ November 1

Dave Barry is a humor columnist. For 25 years he was a syndicated columnist whose work appeared in more than 500 newspapers in the United States and abroad. In 1988 he won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary. Many people are still trying to figure out how this happened.

Dave lives in Miami, Florida, with his wife, Michelle, a sportswriter. He has a son, Rob, and a daughter, Sophie, neither of whom thinks he's funny.

Ridley Pearson
is a #1 nationally best selling author of more than 25 crime fiction novels as well as a dozen novels for younger readers. His books have been translated into 22 languages and in print in over seventy countries.

In 1990, Ridley was the first American to be awarded the Raymond Chandler Fulbright Fellowship in Crime Fiction at Oxford University. In 2008-2009 Ridley served as a visiting professor in the College of International Language and Literature at Fudan University, Shanghai, China.

Ridley lives in St Louis, MO with his wife Marcelle, and their two daughters.
