Reader's Theater with Gennifer Choldenko July 26 @ 2:00 Al Capone Does My Shirts, winner of the Newbery Honor Medal, bowled us over with its humor, local history and incredible story. Gennifer did it again with Al Capone Shines My Shoes. In a total departure, she wrote No Passengers Beyond This Point which tells a story of adventure and survival, set in a fantastical place with rules all its own. Sharp dialogue and taut action make this a book that will stick with you long after you read the incredible ending. This is an afternoon not to be missed! As part of Hicklebee's Read-Aloud Summer, Gennifer Choldenko along with actors from Peninsula Youth Theater, will be presenting a *Reader's Theater production of his books. Booksigning to follow. |
