Book Fair Information
Thank you for expressing an interest in Hicklebee’s Book Fairs, a wonderful way to surround children at your school with a selection of the best books of the year!
We provide a comprehensive assortment of excellent titles based on your needs and our extensive experience. We spend many months choosing books for our fairs and also respect and include your ideas when developing your fair. To that end, we survey your group’s interests to assist us in selecting great literature that best matches your community. We provide Spanish language fairs by contract.
We take pride in providing you not only with beautiful books and personal service, but also tips to optimize sales and assist in operations, including: hints for setting up and running your book fair, templates for flyers you can customize and reproduce, and options for marketing your fair with preview boxes or book talks.
Your sales correlate directly to the profit your organization can earn from a fair, either in the form of cash or book credit at the Hicklebee’s store. Choose the profit schedule that best suits your needs.
When you pick up your fair and return it to the our warehouse at 1805 Little Orchard St # 127, San Jose CA 95125 : |

Book Fairs accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Credit card readers and cash registers are available upon request.
Parent and teacher participation are the keys to the success of your fair. Book Fairs are fun community events--the more, the merrier! Your organization is responsible for promoting and staffing the fair, and for the money handling. All monies will be returned directly to Hicklebee’s, along with the books, at the end of your fair. Once accounting has been completed, you will either receive a check for cash profits, or your book credit will be logged at the store. You may shop in person or online to spend book credit.
