Local YA and teen-lit lover Renee Ting will be leading the new Hicklebee's Novel Society: Adults Reading Teen Lit. Maybe you alreadyknow this genre – accessible, thought-provoking literature that is often written with a teen protagonist. If you haven’t considered it and you miss falling headlong into a great, fast-paced story, this may be the genre for you.
We’ll be meeting the third Thursday of each month, beginning March 15, 7:00 – 8:00. At this first gathering we'll meet each other, talk about favorites, share your vision of club reading, and hand out advanced reader's copies of an exciting new title that is slated to go on sale on May 1st. You’ll be among the first to read this much anticipated book. We'll look forward to a lively discussion when we get together again in April.
Society members will receive a 20% discount on titles chosen for discussion and sometimes access to pre-publication previews of new books from well-known as well as up-and-coming authors. Other surprises may also be in store – remember, this is Hicklebee’s…
Call the store (408) 292-8880 or email us to register -limit 15 people.
