Extraordinary books for the entire family
Monday - Wednesday 10:00 - 5:30 Thursday - Saturday 10:00 - 8:00 Sunday 11:00 - 5:00
Just four decades ago, Princess Elizabeth fought a dragon, saved a prince and learned that empowerment can means never having to marry an ingrate or wear heels.
On Saturday, March 7, we'll celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Paper Bag Princess with a costume contest at 11 a.m., Robert Munsch storytimes, and more. You might want to start thinking about your paper-bag costume. Come as Elizabeth, Prince Ronald, or the dragon, but make your costume as much as possible from paper bags and found materials. (We assume the princess would be a fan of Project Runway.) Our celebration is free, but if you can RSVP here, it will help us plan. See you then!
