TAB: Teen Advisory Board
This summer the Hicklebee’s Teen Advisory Board is writing a collaborative story. Usually, TAB is busy hosting author events at the store, but with COVID 19 we have had to adapt. The Hicklebee’s Teen Advisory Board will release one chapter a week of their story “Quest for a Dying Ember”. It is an epic fantasy adventure that takes place in a fictional united continent. Every chapter will be from a different character’s perspective and by a different TAB author.
Make sure to check the link below every Tuesday for new installments!
Hicklebee's Teen Advisory Board (TAB) - aka Totally Awesome Bibliophiles - is a group of book-loving teens who meet every month to plan and produce programming for anyone excited about YA literature. TAB members use their creativity, social media skills, and enthusiasm for books to help with all aspects of event promotion, planning, and execution. Being a member of the board is a year-long commitment.
Applications for the school year are reviewed every August. If you would like to be considered for TAB this school year and are 13-18 years old, you may still fill out an application. Applicants will be put on a waiting list and notified when space becomes available.

"I’ll be honest with you: I love books. I really love books. I love books so much that I sometimes just go to bookstores just to look at them because they’re just that fabulous. And with TAB, I get a chance to hang out with people who share my passion. I’m not afraid to be myself express my love for books and stories, because everyone at TAB loves books just as much (or more) than I do. In this environment, I can be myself without restraints, and to me, that’s what really makes TAB totally awesome." Catherine O., TAB Member
